Rumi

So I figured if

I read her the

perfect Rumi poem,

with melody,

cadence and

stars in my eyes,

that she would smile and

(silently)

take off her clothes and

tumble into my arms.

We would fall in love

forever,

watch the sunrise

glowing in the bedroom window.

Yes, I’ve been searching

through his poems,

making notes and

waiting

for the moment

to tell you.
